Venus will light up Elenin

Around the autumn equinox on September 23rd, Comet Elenin is about to converge with "reborn" Venus, the Evening Star. The sunlight reflected from Venus will then light up from behind the popular but hardly visible comet for a day or two. On those days, Venus will be briefly visible right after sunset. When you then look at Venus, you're also looking at Elenin.
