The Genuine First Historical Account

The original writing of the main content of what nowadays is known as “the Book of Genesis” (the word “genesis” means “the beginning of something” or “how it came into being”) was in cuneiform on a number of separate clay tablets. Each of these most ancient writings ended with a final sentence meaning “This is the toledoth of …”. The conventional translation of toledoth as “generations” is completely wrong. The correct translation must be “historical account” (or even more precise: “account of family history”). Each of these historical accounts was recorded from a certain perspective. That is why the name or names corresponding to that specific perspective was written down at the end of the concluding sentence.

The original writings of the first 36 chapters of the current Book of Genesis contain at least eight of these historical accounts, all written down in cuneiform on a clay tablet each. The remaining chapters of the current Book of Genesis were originally written on papyrus, many years later. Therefore, we cannot speak of just one book of Genesis. In reality, these are at least nine different books by at least nine different authors (link, link).

In this article, I focus on the very first historical account recorded in writing (as far as we currently know). This most ancient historical account has been translated into the first chapter of the current Book of Genesis. However, the concluding sentence of this first historical account is not part of this first chapter. Rather remarkably, we find this formal ending of this first historical account in the beginning of the second chapter of the current Book of Genesis.

Because of ignorance and perhaps also because of malice, many mistakes were made in translating the original cuneiform writings into Hebrew. However, due to my understanding of Wholly Science, I have been able to restore the original meaning of the First Historical Account. In that, I have excluded the verses of the second chapter of the current Book of Genesis prior to the concluding sentence, since these wordings have clearly been made up during the process of translation. Anyone with just the basic understanding of Wholly Science can easily detect that.

Furthermore, also the commonly accepted translation of the verses 26 and 27 of the first chapter of the current Book of Genesis is utterly wrong. During the first 25 verses, God is unmistakably the sole and single Creator (by saying). However, God then started to suddenly suffer from a syndrome of multiple personalities, according to the commonly accepted translation of both following verses. In this mistranslation, God supposedly said in verse 26: “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness”. In line with that, the completely wrong translation of verse 27 became “And God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.”

First of all, God is not a “He”. God is One, which means that God is both male (Yang) and female (Yin) at the same time, because at the level of God, there is no duality, but only Wholeness. Furthermore, God did not create man directly. This creation was done indirectly, by the use of “subcontractors”. That is why in the genuine historical account recorded in these two verses, the creation of man is performed by multiple creators or gods (without the capital G).

Now this mistranslations (or perhaps these intentionally deceptions) have been corrected, I can reveal the genuine (old) English translation of the First Historical Account:

1	In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
2	Now, the earth was unformed and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters.
3	And God said: “Let there be light.” And there was light.
4	And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.
5	And God called the light “day”, and the darkness God called “night”. This concludes Day One.
6	And God said: “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”
7	And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so.
8	And God called the firmament “heaven”. This concludes Day Two.
9	And God said: “Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so.
10	And God called the dry land “earth”, and the gathering together of the waters God called “seas”; and God saw that it was good.
11	And God said: “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and fruit-tree bearing fruit after its kind, wherein is the seed thereof, upon the earth.” And it was so.
12	And the earth brought forth grass, herb yielding seed after its kind, and tree bearing fruit, wherein is the seed thereof, after its kind; and God saw that it was good.
13	This concludes Day Three.
14	And God said: “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years;
15	and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.” And it was so.
16	And God made the two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night; and God made the stars also.
17	And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18	and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good.
19	This concludes Day Four.
20	And God said: “Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let fowl fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.”
21	And God created great sea-creatures, and every living creature that creepeth, wherewith the waters swarmed, after its kind, and every winged fowl after its kind: and God saw that it was good.
22	And God blessed them, saying: “Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.”
23	This concludes Day Five.
24	And God said: “Let the earth bring forth the living creature after its kind: cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth, each after their kind.” And it was so.
25	And God made the beast of the earth after its kind, and the cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good.
26	And God said: “Let gods make man in their image, after their likeness; and let man rule over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
27	And gods created man in their own image; as an image of God, gods created man; male and female created gods them.
28	And God blessed man; and God said unto them: “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
29	And God said: “Behold: I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food;
30	And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is a living soul, I have given every green herb for food.” And it was so.
31	And God saw every thing that God had made, and, behold: it was very good. This concludes Day Six.
	This is the historical account of the heavens and of the earth when they were created.
